We hope to see a return to our full range of table tennis activities in 2021, despite the ongoing COVID-19 uncertainty. Wednesday Veterans Roster competition will commence on 3 February 2021 and the Tuesday Roster (all ages) will commence 16 February. Casual play throughout the week will resume from 11 January 2021. Coaching activities will also resume but dates are to be advised - the coaching page gives an indication of the likely opportunities. The Southern Open Championships will be on 1 May and Tasmanian Open Championships will be on 24 July. Adult beginners are always welcome, with Tuesday and Saturday mornings the best time. Our Schools Program for junior table tennis players in term 4 will commence on Monday 12th October 2020. New players welcome. Individuals can join or make a team with friends and schools can nominate players. Stage 3 return to sport arrangements are now in place for members. Older people and those more susceptible to respiratory conditions should exercise caution and limit their interaction with others. We encourage the Table Tennis Community to download the COVID-19 app

We have a range of playing and coaching opportunities in 2020 to cater for all levels of players including beginners. Table tennis is fun, sociable and suitable for all ages and abilities, male and female. Those who like a challenge and want to play as a serious sport are also catered for. Table Tennis Australia will be conducting a two day course on becoming a State Umpire later this year and you are invited to make an expression of interest to attend. Final dates and venue are yet to be finalised, however if you are interested in attending please contact Ian Weller ianweller@y7mail.com. We are hoping to get at least 8 to make this viable!
