Social/Fun Night Matches

We have Social/Fun Night matches every Wednesday in January 2018. These are social competitions open to the public as well as STTTA members and members of other clubs. Cost is $8 adult or $4 under 18. The format varies each night and could be singles or doubles, team or individual events as decided by the organiser. You could play stronger, weaker, or same strength players or there may be a handicap system. The idea is just to have fun. You are assured of an active night of table tennis. Some experience is necessary - beginners should consider Wednesday coaching (see coaching page) instead. Free tea/coffee/milo provided. You must arrive before 7pm and pay your fee to ensure you will be included in the competition.

STTTA Wins State League 2017

STTTA won the 2017 State League Competition held in Launceston defeating, in second place, the Northern Suburbs Table Tennis League. The last time we won was in 2014. State League is Tasmania’s annual inter-club competition with players competing for the Yasaka State League Shield.
